Jerry Dee was the first one called out to keep performing and I don’t want to say I told ya so, but I told ya so. He is good. So, He get’s up there and jokes about education. I’m an educator myself and it’s nice to laugh at your profession every once in a while. Jerry had another real good night. I believe he earned himself another week! The next comic that was safe was Lavell Crawford and he killed it tonight. Lavell joked about his mom moving him from the ghetto to the suburbs where he had to do white people things, such as joining the boy scouts. He was funny calling himself a little, fat black boy. He is safe for another week. Amy was the next to perform and in to the next round. As usual, Amy worked in a ton of jokes and her jokes were mostly about relationships, but I’m afraid that she wasn’t very good this week. I didn’t feel any energy from her. I called it, I called it, I called it: Ralph Harris left us tonight and I thought he had his moments but he thought he was was better than everybody or at the very least was a bit to cocky and it got the best of him. Jon was the last one to make it to the final four and his set was about small town life. His set had it punchlines but did not keep me going. Again, I think tonight came down to Lavell and Jerry and it’s a toss up if Amy or Jon leave next week. See ya next week.
